Kristen hosts E3 reality show ‘Making the Game’

Kristen interviewing Bear Grylls from Man vs Wild

I literally just got home from a 10-day trip to the east coast when a good pal of mine, Jeff Hardy CEO of F84 Studios, gave me a buzz and asked me to host a reality show pilot they were shooting called Making the Game. Of course!

Making the Game is a a behind the scenes episodic series that captures the process of making video games, from concept to development to promotion at huge events, with today’s hottest gaming companies. Plus it’s a reality show, so you’ll be sure to catch conflicts, clashing personalities, and all of the drama involved in getting a product to market on time.

The episode we shot took place at the E3 Expo where I had the opportunity to interview experts and CEOs of F84, EA, Nintendo, Sony and more about their glories, trials and tribulations. Don’t worry, I caught a few ‘Booth Bunnies’ too! Not to mention an exclusive interview with Bear Grylls, star of Man vs Wild.

The three studios involved in Making the Game include F84 Games (a division of Floor 84 Studio), Scientifically Proven Entertainment and Epicenter Studios. Read more about Making the Game.

PUCKER peeps crush STIFF video challenge

Artwork by MediaKatalyst

Two of PUCKER‘s finest, director Ty Huffer (Frankenhuffer Productions) and special effects guru Dane Storrusten (MediaKatalyst), have joined forces with the band Kincaid to create the most bad ass music video I’ve seen in quite some time for the 2010 STIFF Music Video Challenge. Oh, and they had two days to do it.

“Looks of L.A.” swept the contest and took home both the Audience Choice Award and Jury Award. Any video that has two dudes obsessed with LA Looks hair gel, a flying El Camino, and a half dozen smokin’ hot babes rocking out to Kincaid’s first single is an obvious win to me.

The music video wooed audiences when smoke machines filled the theater just as the El Camino… oh wait, I can’t tell you the ending! You’ll need to watch and see for youself.

Here’s the video on YouTube, or you can find the HD version on the Frankenhuffer Facebook page.

Kristen Nedopak hosts Variety World Conference with Simon Cowell

Audrey K girls and I with Julia Morley, President of Variety International :: Variety World Conference 2010

Simon Cowell :: Variety World Conference 2010

On May 21, 2010, I had the incredible opportunity to host the LIVE Audrey K fashion event at the Variety Magazine World Conference, introducing the entertainment during the awards ceremony (with a huge screen of my face behind me!). The Diamond Betty’s performed alongside gorgeous pin-up models who tea-cupped through the audience, displaying their vintage-inspired attire for guests of the charitable event. Among the honorees were Simon Cowell and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.

One of the best moments was when the chairman came up to us after the show and said, “We hold this [children's] charity every year to get people excited, so they go back to their own country and put forth the effort to help. Just know that you have made a huge difference in a lot of people’s lives tonight.”

Wow!

More photos and video of the event coming soon! In the meantime, please enjoy some of the first photos posted on the Variety Children’s Charity site.
